Frequently Asked Questions
- Is lunch provided?
- No, please be sure to pack a lunch for your child. Brown bags are requested but not required
- What if my child does not like the provided snack?
- You are welcome to provide snacks to your child in their lunch box. We also have a variety of snacks for the campers (there will be no peanut products)
- What should my child wear to camp?
- Closed toed tennis shoes are strongly recommended. We play a lot of games, and run around most of the day. This is to prevent any unnecessary injuries. Also, we recommend wearing clothes that are able to get messy.
- Are Puddle Jumpers required?
- If your child brings a Puddle Jumper with them to camp, counselors will make sure they have them on for the entire duration of swim time.
- Can my child buy food from the concession stand?
- Money can be added to your child's account at the front desk of The Timbers. After swim time, those who have money on their account will get the choice between a hot dog, ice cream, pretzel or a slushy for their afternoon snack. For those who do not have money on their account, they will be given a snack provided by staff.
